Magalies Canopy Tour
Situated at the Sparkling Waters Hotel and Spa (only 1,5 hr from JHB, 1 hr from PTA, 32km from Rustenburg and 75km from Sun City)the Magaliesberg Canopy tour offers one the opportunity to explore the secrets of the Magaliesberg Mountains, the second oldest mountain range in the world (2400 million years old), while sliding across the top of Ysterhout Kloof from 11 platforms constructed high into the rock faces of the kloof and joined by 10 cabled slides up to 140m long and in places 30m above the stream below. Trained guides accompany each tour that is limited to 8 participants. Tours depart from offices situated at the Sparkling Waters Hotel and Spa and the price includes a briefing, 2 x trained guides to accompany the tour, refreshments on tour and a light meal. It is an awesome experience and something you just have to do.
